Installs in Minutes:
A full 13-step stairway with three Easy Riser stringers can be installed in about 25 minutes. No special tools are required. The recommended fastner is a simple 1 1/2" screw. Since time is money, imagine how the value of Easy Riser multiplies with each stairway installed.

Engineered for Strength:
Easy Riser systems are considerably stronger than conventional stairways. Why? Because when an Easy Riser component is attached to a 2 x 6 or 2 x 10 which only has 2 1/2" to 3" of depth. There is no strength comparison. Easy Riser is one of the few engineered stair stringer systems available on the market for residential and commercial use.

IBC/IRC 2003 Code Compliant:
Easy Riser complies with both the International Building and Residential Codes for interior stairs supporting up to 100 pounds per square foot and a 300 point load for single/multiple family housing and hotels. Adjustable by Design:
Easy Riser easily adjusts to any tread or riser measures because the filler block located between the side panels of Easy Riser components does not rest on the stringer. So, although standard tread and riser measurements are pre-marked, you can accommodate wider tread or riser measurements with ease.

Cost Effective:
Although the material costs associated with Easy Riser stringer system might be slightly higher than conventional systems, the savings in time and reduced waste more than make-up the difference. In addition, Easy Riser offers a great value with a stronger, more adjustable stairway.

Less Deflection, Fewer Squeaks:
The superior strength of Easy Riser stringer systems minimizes deflections, the cause of most stairway squeaks. Less deflection means fewer loose treads and risers that cause rubbing, and eventually, squeaky stairs. A second cause of squeaking - shrinkage - is reduced by using full depth stringers. Conventional notched stringers are more likely to shrink, and therefore, squeak.
